This policy explains what personal data Advirals Media collects, why we collect it and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It applies to people who apply for a role with us, to anyone who contacts us through this website, and to visitors whose activity we measure with cookies and similar technologies when they consent.
Last updated: July 2026
The data controller is AD VIRALS MEDIA (AMOR FATI INVEST SRL), based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
For any privacy matter or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@advirals.media.
Job applications: first and last name, email, phone number, age, LinkedIn profile, portfolio or work links, the legal form you can invoice through (PFA / SRL / I.I.), and the answers you give in the application form (experience, expectations, availability and role-specific questions).
Contact and consultation requests: your name, email, phone, company / website and the details of your message.
Technical data: an approximate country derived from your IP address (used only to show the site in the right language) and standard server logs.
Advertising and analytics data (only if you accept cookies): device and browser information, IP address, and the online or advertising identifiers set by cookies, together with the pages you view and actions you take on the site — for example viewing the booking page or submitting the booking form. None of this is collected if you decline the cookie banner.
Recruitment: to evaluate your application, communicate with you and run the hiring process. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give via the checkbox on the application form, and steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Contact / consultation requests: to respond to you and, where relevant, prepare a possible collaboration. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and pre-contractual steps.
Language and security: to serve the site in your language and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
Analytics and advertising (only with your consent): to measure how our website and our ads perform, understand our booking funnel, and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site (retargeting), using Meta, Google and TikTok. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
Your data is accessible only to the Advirals team members involved in recruitment or in responding to you.
We use trusted service providers (processors) who handle data on our behalf, such as our website hosting (Vercel), our internal applicant / client management tools, and — where you accept cookies — the analytics and advertising partners described in 'Cookies and tracking' below.
We never sell your personal data. If — and only if — you accept cookies, we share online identifiers and activity data with our advertising and analytics partners (Meta, Google and TikTok) so we can measure and improve our advertising. You can decline or withdraw this at any time via the cookie banner.
Applications are kept for up to 12 months so we can consider you for this and future roles, after which they are deleted, unless we agree otherwise or you ask us to delete them sooner.
Contact / consultation messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and, where a collaboration starts, for the duration of that relationship and any legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics data are kept for the retention periods set by each tool (for example, Google Analytics event data for up to 14 months, and advertising cookies typically for up to 13 months). Your cookie choice is stored on your device so we don't have to ask on every visit.
Some of our providers process data outside the European Economic Area — in particular our analytics and advertising partners Meta, Google and TikTok, which may transfer data to the United States. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out).
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@advirals.media. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
We use cookies and similar technologies in three groups: strictly necessary (needed for the site to work and to remember your language and your cookie choice — always active), analytics cookies (to understand how the site is used), and advertising cookies (to measure and target our ads). Analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you accept them.
On your first visit a banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies. Until you accept, those cookies are not set; for Google services we use Consent Mode, which runs in a cookieless, privacy-preserving mode until you consent.
The analytics and advertising tools we use are the Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Pixel, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and the TikTok Pixel. They help us count page views, booking-page visits and form submissions, and show relevant ads to previous visitors.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies / site data in your browser (which brings the banner back) or through your browser's cookie settings. You can also opt out directly with each provider: Meta (facebook.com/privacy), Google (policies.google.com/technologies/ads and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and TikTok (tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy).
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below reflects the latest version.
